Harvest Festival is a partnership event between Brisbane City Council, Brisbane Multicultural Art Centre (BEMAC) and Northey Street City Farm. Celebrating 10 years, this year the Harvest Festival is featuring the best of world music, dance and cuisine that Brisbane has to offer. Situated in the heart of Brisbane, the festival is held in the glorious community gardens of Northey Street City Farm and will be jam-packed with activities for all the family, from how to cook multicultural food to how to create a permaculture garden.
The entertainment includes an all day program of the best traditional and contemporary music from all over the world, children’s activities, forums, art, demonstrations and practical help on edible gardening.
The festival celebrates the rich and diverse cultural impact of migrants and refugees to Queensland, so come along and enjoy one of the best community festivals in Brisbane. Come early and visit Brisbane’s only organic market from 6am.
