Stadtkunst eV projects design, coordinate and implemente art projects in public spaces. Really brillant stuff! Their 2004 "con_con: constructed connections" work explored bridges and lead to the permanent built public space of the Badeschiff (bathing ship). In 2007 their KAiAK (Art + Architecture in Old Köpenick) project created a range of public space interventions (as pictured) which were temporary in nature but sought to be a driver for permanent renewal of the town. Similarly PARK(ing) Day as a temporary action has lead to permanent streetscape improvement programs by San Fransciso.
