FLASHMOBS is a Brisbane group that coordinates events designed to create mass confusion in public places. The first event was on April 1st 2008 in Queen St Mall for "World Freeze Day" and had well over 200 people freezing on the spot at 1pm. See the official video.
By activating and using public space for expression, they are actually helping to push the critical discussions about our urban spaces just like PARK(ing).
